Life Saving Insurance

Available to members free of charge is coverage of a member’s savings (coverage varies depending on age of the member when deposits are made). CUNA Mutual Insurance Group provides the international Credit Union movements insurance coverage and is owned by the credit union movement. (As with all such Insurance, pre-existing condition qualifications will apply).

The maximum amount CUNA will insure a member for is £5k

16 – 64: Full cover of funds invested plus equal sum from CUNA insurance
65 – 79: Full cover of funds invested plus 25% of this value from CUNA
80+:      No insurance is offered hence value of shares held
